The session reviews the concept of the mental health continuum and introduces 3 personal strategies to promote improved mental health. Applying one of these strategies, participants will evaluate their own resiliency activities using a Wellness Wheel to identify areas for improvement. A brief planning activity is used to translate the learning into immediately applicable actions. Participants must have access to a laptop or desktop computer or a cellphone and have access to private space.

An expert occupational health consultant with a background in workplace mental health will facilitate this interactive 70-minutes unique workshop. Participants will reflect on how current challenges imposed by COVID-19 impact upon their profession and personal lives. The workshop will support participants to create a personalized resiliency plan to address their unique stress-points across the entire spectrum of needs: physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual.

Participants will choose the level of interaction they wish to have with others in the group and can remain completely private and independent if they wish. The session will be run via Zoom, so participants need access to this technology; by joining the session in a private, quiet space, participants ensure the experience is maximized for all.
